Jets defeat Nordiques 7-4
The Jets and Nordiques faced off next with both teams wanting to make a lasting impact on the season. The Jets struck first with a goal from Fahim Limbada, only to be equalized with a goal from Shoaib Khan. Limbada would score twice more to complete his first period hat trick before Huzeifa Patel would put up the Nords second of the night. Jets lead 5-2 going into the half with comfortable control of the game thanks to the presence of Adil Patel. The second period saw a much slower pace but the damage had been done by the Jets who would go on to win this 7-2 and finish first place once again.
Hawks defeat Falcons 13-2
And finally the Hawks and Falcons faced off in a game that was over well before it started. A deflated looking Falcons squad had no energy as the Hawks dominated the first half with goalie Faizan Khannat doing very little in between the pipes. Zakaria Manjra scored his first of the night to start, followed by goals from Zabir Khannat, Zahid Patel, Musa Bhoola, Shahrukh Shah and Aziz Patel. The Hawks had a comfortable 7-0 leading going into the second. The second half was pretty much the same with the exception of two Falcons goals coming from Mudassar Hussain and Abdul Manjra. Hawks win this one 13-2 in grand fashion as a precursor to the playoffs.
