WEEK 5 Previews

Bruins Vs Jets @ 8:45pm

As we make our way to the mid season mark, things are beginning to solidify. First up this week we've got the Bruins and Jets. The Bruins were dumbfounded last week as the Sharks outplayed them on every stat. However, GM Mazhar Hussain has managed to get Brother Azhar Hussain and goalie Kaleem Mirza in a trade with the Falcons for Atif Bokhari and Amer Shaikh. Perhaps this will be enough to turn things around as they take on the ever consistent Jets. The Jets too were routed last week, but by the smallest margin. Expect goalie Yasir Hussain to bounce back hard and give little brothers Azhar and Mazhar a hard time. If GM Rizwan Hassan is to return, the Bruins will have no excuses this week. Gonna be an interesting game to say the least.

Falcons Vs Sharks @ 9:45pm

Next up are the Sharks and Falcons. The Falcons are coming off a bye week, but will be pleased to welcome defenseman Atif Bokhari. Amer Shaikh is seen as a liability as his precious game play was nothing short of disastrous. I have faith in this goalie but he will definitely need to step his game up. The Sharks rookie goalie Mohammed Bashir seems to have gotten the flow, as the Sharks are making a case to be a team to beat. GMs Syed Ahmed and Zahid Panchbhaya have managed to find a nice chemistry and will make the Falcons fight for any points. Not going to throw this in the Sharks favour this easy though, as the Falcons defense bow boasts Sabir Shaikh, Vasim Kagzi, Adnan Hashmi, and Atif Bokhari.

Hawks Vs Nordiques @ 10:45pm

To finish the night off we've got the Nordiques and Hawks. Hawks GM Adil Patel is leading the league with an impressive 13 goals and it seems to be enough for his team to win. The Nordiques won their first game in emphatic fashion and will be looking to build a win streak. It will be interesting to see Adil Patel and Shoaib Khan go at it again as their first encounter this season ended in a close SO win for the Hawks. The Hawks have two goalies that play equally great but it looks like Uzair Baig is finally getting into all-star form. Intuition and past experience give this game to the Hawks, but then again this is MMGL and anything can happen.
