WEEK 6 RESULTS
Bruins Defeat Nordiques 5-4
The first game of the night saw the offense-powered Bruins and Nordiques. The Nordiques were without all-star Yusuf Ingar and forward Rajin Patel. The Bruins brought a full team and took advantage of the Nordiques' fatigue early going up 2-0 with goals from Rizwan Hassan. and Mudassar Hussain. The Nordiques cut the deficit in half with a quick goal from Shoaib Khan. The Bruins responded with another 2 goals from Shahrukh Shah and Mudassar Hussain. The Nordiques came out strong in the 2nd, but Bruins Mudassar H. put in his 3rd goal of the night to put the Bruins up 5-1. Jason Gogna of the Nordiques responded with a hat-trick of his own, fed by Shoaib Khan and Sabir Shaikh. The last two minutes of the game saw the Nordiques going on a strong offense, keeping the Bruins on their feet, and had one goal disallowed. With a missed chance to tie by Asif Saleh in the last minute, the Bruins held on for a 5-4 win.

Falcons Defeat Kings 8-7 SO
The second game of the night was between the Falcons and the Kings. It was a great offensive battle between the two teams. The scoring began from Kings GM Haran Karunakaran plotting his 3rd of the season. For the first time this season, the Kings would take a 2-0 lead with a goal from Yasser Habib. The lead wouldn't last too long as Falcons Manjot Bhatti added a pair to tie things up. Kings Fahad Panchbhaya would slip one in to give the Kings a 3-2 lead at half time. The second period was a scoring frenzy as both teams were able to score and surprisingly the Kings were able to tie the game in the dying seconds and force a shootout. Stephen Corradino and Ridwaan Khanji were both spectacular in the second period and coming clutch for their teams. However, in the shoot out Falcons Suhaib Shaikh's goal was the only one needed to secure the win, as Stephen Corradino was able to stop all three Kings Shooters. Special mention goes to Manjot Bhatti for having a 7 point night. The Kings still remain winless and are tied for the longest losing streak now.

Hawks Defeat Bruins 7-6 SO
The last game of the night was expected to be a walk over for the Bruins and it did seem like that as the Bruins reeled off 3 straight goals from Muddy, Shahrukh Shah and Fahim Shaikh to take early 3-0 lead. It would be interesting to see how the Hawks would respond as they would be without their GM Shakir Shaikh and star Baba Khan. Parmeet Uppal and Gurjeet Jhutty would respond back to cut the deficit to one. Second period started with both teams exchanging goals and going back and forth. Hawks Parmeet Uppal and Bruins Mudassar Hussain would complete their hat tricks in the second period and keep both teams deadlocked at 6. We would get to see another shootout on this night. Young Sufyaan Shaikh would be the only one that would score for the Hawks and Goalie Adil Mirza would do the rest to stop all three shooters and give his team a hard fought win. Special mention goes to Parmeet Uppal for a 5 point night and taking charge for his team on this night.
